My New Collection.
All you need is a little inspiration.
My latest paintings are inspired by the Winter light and the colour, shadows and texture of the landscape at this beautiful time of year.
This new body of work is particularly focused on recent skies in both the morning and evening. I have always been drawn to how the light falls at different times of the day, and the unique colours in both the sky and on the landscape whether its an early morning sunrise or the sunset at the end of the day as the light disappears.
My passion is capturing that perfect sunrise or sunset in that fleeting moment in time, capturing the shadows that form from the light and the movement of the ever evolving colour.
These acrylic paintings in various sizes are a blend of a semi abstract style particularly in my smaller paintings but with a touch of my impressionist blending more especially in the larger works.
