‘Daybreak Muse’

This is a favourite of mine, a recent impressionist sunrise. I really enjoyed painting this. It had a few lives along the way but suddenly just worked when the colours, light and blending all came together. The glow descends from the clouds right down to the horizon and was created with multi layers of different colours to enhance the depth of the natural beauty. Behind that the warmer tones shine through.
