‘Gilded Sunset’

This little landscape is part of a series of spontaneous sunset studies in acrylic on canvas board painted in my impressionistic but semi abstract style with a lot of blending from different size brushes. I really enjoyed painting this small landscape. It seemed to flow so easily and to be honest so quickly too. Some of my paintings have many lives before I’m finally happy but this one just happened so naturally.
