‘Sunlit Lustre’

This acrylic on canvas is a softer, more impressionist painting with a lot of blending especially in the sky. I particularly like the touches of pink and peachy tones on the horizon and the light drifting upward into the clouds and sky. Even though it’s one of my smaller stretched canvases I feel it has a lovely glow of light in the sky, similar to Sunlit Waltz (here) which is slightly smaller (30 x 30 cms). They are both becoming part of my favourites.
