My new acrylic landscape painting is Misty Autumn.

My new acrylic landscape painting ‘Misty Autumn’ has a lot of gorgeous blue tones set in that misty time of year when the days are beginning to get a little colder.

There is just enough light on the horizon and the ochres and greens in the foreground do give that Autumn feel.

The sky is blended in a similar way to my large canvases which is not something I usually do with my smaller paintings but I do like the way the light gradually ascends with those lighter blue highlights.

There is a definite hazy feel blurring into the foreground with those light ochres and greens reflected from the light in the sky.

I used a very small brush to put a little detail into the horizon giving it that glow.

This painting would blend with any room colour decor.
