My latest paintings are for various exhibitions at a number of galleries and are all inspired by the light, colour and texture in the landscape during late Winter and early Spring days.

I have always been interested in the way the light affects both the land and the sky creating moving unique colours as everyday is different, whether its early morning or the end of the day as the light slowly disappears.

At this time of year the daily cloud formations can be quite breathtaking as the sky and the landscape emerge into the colours of Spring with just that early and late blush of colour increasing texture and form.

I love to capture a moment in time which you feel you have been to before creating that special emotion when you are viewing a painting.

I hope one painting provides you with that memory of a personal time and place.
