Introducing my new work

My latest paintings are inspired by the Spring light and the colour and texture of the landscape at this beautiful time of year.

This new body of work is particularly focused on recent skies at both morning and evening. I have always been drawn to how the light falls at different times of the day and the unique colours in both the sky and on the landscape whether its early morning or the end of the day as the light disappears.

My passion is capturing that perfect sunrise or sunset in that fleeting moment in time, capturing the shadows that form from the light and the evolving colour.

These paintings are a blend of my semi abstract style with a touch of my impressionist blending, all acrylic on canvas in various sizes.
