New painting ‘Whispering Dawn’

‘Whispering Dawn’ - 76 x 50 cms - Acrylic on canvas

The sun tipped on to the horizon breaking the night shadows with a piercing light that pushed soft pink clouds up into the early morning sky.

I painted this after waking early one morning and seeing how quietly the dawn evolved.

Its a 76x50cms stretched canvas with softer brushstrokes and blended colours to reflect the silence and serenity of the break of day.

I have concentrated on the focal point on the horizon where the sun is rising and the warm air is lifting the clouds.
