Transform your space with this beautiful landscape painting ‘Horizon Mist’.

This small beautiful landscape painting on handmade paper is always a reminder of how I like my paintings to resonate. Its so calm and peaceful.

I love the the larger brushstrokes of violet blue and touches of turquoise.

In contrast the moody sky is a lot more blended. The green and turquoise give an atmosphere and glow to the horizon and ochres give a glimmer of light with touches of white.

Even though ‘Horizon Mist’ is small it was painted with quite large brushes and just smaller ones along the horizon. My small paintings are usually more abstract but this is quite impressionist.

When I am in a painting rut I quite often like to paint small as it is so spontaneous and free. It is then just all about the ‘feeling’.

I just put on the music and see what happens……
