It’s a very spontaneous painting which I always gravitate to when the art is smaller.

I love the yellow brushstrokes on the horizon and the touches of green in the foreground giving the impression of sun on fields below.

The strokes of light blue in the sky give the impression of first light just before the sun takes the shadows away.
