Landscape painting for sale: ‘Spring Fields’

This landscape painting for sale ‘Spring Fields’ is I have to admit one from my archive. However, because I have always liked it I thought I would enjoy and share it because I love the freedom of the bold brushstrokes especially the yellow in the foreground of light shining on a rapeseed field.

I always enjoy the spontaneity of bolder brushstrokes and then laying down the colour and adding texture.

In ‘Spring Fields’ I now see colours like the violet blue on the horizon opposite the grey on the other side. I really enjoyed painting this one.

There are so many different green colours in this painting but also some gorgeous blue tones in the sky with that Spring light.

‘Spring Fields’ just says Spring to me with all it’s new colour and light.

Ironically I’m quite pleased it has not sold yet.

This painting would brighten any small space in the home or office.
